Guillotine Earrings, Silver

Regular price $40.00

The guillotine is best known for its use during the French Revolution, where the revolution's supporters celebrated it as the people's avenger. These earrings are inspired by a 19th-century pair of earrings based on caricatures from that time. It shows on the head of Louis 16th and Marie Antoinette suspended under the blade of a guillotine, itself attached to a Phrygian cap.

Love - so chic and dainty!

I love these guillotine earrings specifically because of the royalty heads (not just a skull) and the revolutionary hat. Heart detail!

Very lightweight. I barely noticed I had them in, and I tend to be very sensitive to anything but the lightest earrings.

An excellent design held back only by the mass-production CNC used to create them.

I SENT you an email April 8th and here it is:

To Whom It May Concern:

I received the earrings (Order 4006) on 4/4, and I was very happy with the look and lightness of them-HOWEVER, they refuse to stay in my earlobes! The "dogleg" on the back is very long,(never had earrings like that) and gets caught or pushed out and since they are so light I've barely noticed them falling (thankfully after the first time, I've been monitoring them more closely). I am at a loss on how to fix this problem, I've tried at least 4 different earring backs to retain them, none fit. Have you got any helpful hints? Or can you fix the problem? I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue?
